Tarik is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based between Ashland, Oregon and the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the co-creator of the original prog-pop band Raze The Maze with Moorea Dickason.

In Raze The Maze, Tarik plays bass and composes, while also contributing on guitar and piano. Beyond the band, he is an active working musician performing with numerous groups, and teaches private lessons in bass, guitar, piano, and composition.

Before forming Raze The Maze, Tarik co-founded the critically acclaimed progressive rock band MoeTar and the Latin fusion band Machina Sol.

Tarik has arranged music for the Oakland Symphony and has performed at venues including Fox Theater, SFJAZZ Center, CBGBs, and Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, as well as hundreds of clubs across the United States.
